I was walking in an alley disappointed that our town didn't have fireworks at the park, therefore I was looking for any to take pictures of. So I was coming out of the shadows as they lit theirs and this was the shot of the night, I love how the kid is startled. >.<

This is awesome! such a once in a life time kind of shot 
i expecially like the way the light transitions in to smoke and the reflections on the ground at the bottom of the photo. They kind of remind me of stars for some reason
